Javier Íscar de Hoyos
MANAGING PARTNER
Javier Íscar de Hoyos is the Managing Partner of the Íscar Arbitraje firm and has been acting exclusively as arbitrator since 2019.
He is highly experienced as arbitrator in administered arbitrations under ICC rules, the Arbitration Court of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, the Arbitration Court of the Madrid Bar Association, as well as in ad hoc arbitrations.
Member of the directory of arbitrators of the Court of the Chamber of Commerce of Valencia, of CAE Peru and of the International Centre for Arbitration, Dispute Resolution & Dispute Boards of Trujillo (Peru), among other institutions.
Member of the Argentinian Committee of National and Transactional Arbitration, CARAT.
Foreign correspondent academic of the Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation of Colombia.
He is experienced in arbitration in the fields of Construction, Engineering, M&A, Distribution, Commercial Law, among others.
Over 25 years of professional experience, of which the last 20 years have been closely linked to arbitration, both as a lawyer, representative of various domestic and international arbitration institutions and arbitrator, which he has been practicing exclusively since 2019.
Co-author of “Situation of Investment Arbitration in Spain” in the prestigious international review “International Comparative Legal Guides”.
Recognized as Highly recommended by the international media, rating and strategic information agency, Leaders League in 2020.
He has been the 3rd member of the Governing Board of the Madrid Bar Association.
He is also currently Secretary General of the Ibero-American Arbitration Centre, CIAR and the European Arbitration Association.
He is the author of several publications, co-author of books and a frequent lecturer on arbitration and mediation matters.

During over 20 years in the legal sector, Sonia has held various positions of responsibility related to administration, project management and organization of domestic and international events.
She currently holds the position of Office Manager, supervising every step and strategic decision we make in our firm.
Ana Barriga
SENIOR ASSOCIATE
Member of Madrid Bar Association, she has been a practicing lawyer for over 15 years, in a wide range of expertise and advisor to important domestic and international firms. Her fields of specialization are real estate, construction, and engineering, as well as the financial and banking sector. Ana has extensive experience in domestic and international arbitration, both institutional and ad hoc.
Peio Yoldi

Political Science and International Relations graduate and master’s in Political and Business Communication, Peio has experience in digital marketing and integrated communication both for agencies and for individual clients. Specialized in the legal sector, he currently holds the position of Marketing and New Technologies Manager, in charge of the positioning and reputation management of our firm.
